October 2013

I have a lot of blogging to catch up on! With baby girls due date next week i want to get caught up because life will get even crazier with two!

October was still a busy one for Ryan - he worked every weekend throughout the month except for one weekend where we got to get away and head down to Mankato for his cousins wedding. Cameron had a sleepover at Nama and Papas and of course, loved it!

One other highlight was going to a corn maze and pumpkin patch with a few of my friends. Our boys are close in age and one of them, Carson, even went to New Horizons with Cameron. They loved seeing each other and had a blast! It was a chilly day, but lunch at BWWs afterwards warmed everyone up :)

Saying hello to Carson and giving him a hug

Cameron became obsessed with a decorative scarecrow we have at our house. He named him Carson (he missed his buddy a little too much!) and did everything with Carson: read books to him, watched TV, put him to bed, etc. it was quite fun to see his imagination at work! We finally put Carson away after Thanksgiving and now we talk about how we can take Carson out next year at the same time we take out pumpkins. And every scarecrow he sees now is named Carson :))

Snuggling and watching TV with Carson

Cameron was a HUGE Vikings fan this year. Too bad they didn't have a good season! His favorite thing to say is "Go Vikings!!" and always wants to play football. He'll watch the players on the TV tackle each other and then he'll in turn throw down his football into the ground and fall and roll everywhere like he's being tackled!

Tackling daddy!

And the final highlight of October was trick or treating. Our little stud muffin was Spider man and he LOVED it! We didn't think he'd pick up on trick or treating or care much about it, but he sure did! We went around the neighborhood with our neighbors Ryan and Becky and their little monkey Colin. Cameron loved riding in the wagon with Colin - and mommy and daddy loved all the candy he got :)

His first trick or treating house: Neighbor Kenny!

Baby Girl is getting bigger!

Playing with Lincoln Logs with Papa and with Nama's scarecrow, also named Carson!

Like father, like son :) Both on their phones!

We made our first trip to the library and Cameron loved it!! His attention span only lasts about 15-20 minutes but he now loves going back and bringing home library books!

Ryan and Cameron went to Great Grandma Sorenson's house for Children's day (I enjoyed a day at home and then an evening out with my friend Megan!)
