Little Stinker

Time for an update!!

* Cameron is getting another new cousin this summer!!! Tom and Val are expecting and due the end of July. Yay!!!!! Hopefully this means a trip to Montana is in our future!!!
* New words include: nigh, nigh (good night), Papa, huh? (unfortunately he says this one a lot but it's really funny!!), ct (coat), shhhhhs, (shoes), tickle tickle, and nana (which we think is Manson???)
* I think our little stinker will be obsessed with shoes! Grandma Chris got him a pair of Spider-Man shoes that light up and he LOVES them!! Daycare was telling me that the shoes can be a distraction for him during nap time because he takes them off, and bangs then on his crib, making them light up. But when his teacher takes them away he gets incredibly upset!!! So, I put a different pair on him this morning. Afterwards he sat and stared at them, playing with the buckle. Then walked over to his Spider-Man ones and said "shhhhhs??" Oh boy!!!
* Ever since he's been sitting, he's been using a blue bath seat for the bath. Last night he stood up, climbed out of the bath seat, and pushed it too the back of the tub. Guess he's done using his bath seat!!
* Petting Manson and "being gentle" are daily routines now. We say good morning to Manson and in the evening give him hugs and pets good night. So far Manson doesn't seem to mind - in fact, more often than not he gets annoyed and walks away! Especially when Cameron sits on him and tries to ride him!
* He's starting to become a picky eater!! He goes into stubborn streaks where he only wants to feed himself (and he's pretty good with a spoon and fork!). Also he's being pickier with meat and eating more dairy products (yogurt, cheese, etc.). As long as he gets what he needs!!
* He's down to one nap a day - both at home and at daycare! Nap time is about noon now and if he takes a short nap, it sure makes for a long night!!!
* Blowing kisses to everyone when we leave places now is almost always a must.
* He loves it when you lay on the floor and "wrestle". He climbs on our backs and jumps on us, as well as he learned to lift up shirts and do "tickle tickle" - consider this a fair warning if you come over to play!! :-)

I know I sounds like a broken record by calling him a ham, but this little boy has an amazing personality and we love seeing the new things he does all the time!!!
